Class Objectives:
Students will have an understanding of and be proficient in complex object oriented software analysis and design. The course will focus on system development from design and analysis completely through implementation. Our primary objective will be on how to apply the techniques learned to the design and construction of large software systems.
The class will be lecture based. Students must have a working knowledge of C++, must be familiar with object-oriented programming concepts, and must have successfully completed a data structures course (e.g. CS 201). Grades will be based on homeworks, quizzes, a group project, and the final exam. A homework guide will be supplied to address the details of homework submission process and homework grading.
