ISIS has immediate oppenings for:

  • Graduate Students conduct studies and research in network-embedded systems, tools for system modeling and design, analysis, fault-diagnostics and prognostics, synthesis, and execution. Ph.D. Students must complete for credit 72 hours of graduate work, of which a minimum of 24 semester hours must be in formal course and seminar work at Vanderbilt. After completing a minimum of 36 semester hours of course work, the student takes the Ph.D. qualifying examination. Upon passing the examination, the student enters candidacy for the degree and is guided in her or his dissertation research by the Ph.D. committee. The whole process usually takes four years. ISIS offers Research Assistanships to all qualified graduate students. An RA position offers $1600-$1800 starting monthly stipend, full tuition waiver and free health insurance.
