Submitted manuscript may be maximum 8 pages long, including figures,
tables, and references. They should be in double column format,
using at least 10 pts font on letter-sized paper (8.5"x11"). Please
use the standard 1-inch margin. The accepted paper format is PDF
only. Include an abstract and 5-6 keywords for the technical areas
most relevant to your paper. The workshop proceedings will be
published by IEEE CS press.
Submitting paper through EDAS system
The paper should be submitted on the EDAS
system webpage .
• Creating an account
If you don't already have an EDAS account, you will need to create one.
Submitting a paper consists of three-steps:
registering the paper, adding authors and submitting the manuscript.
• Registering a paper and adding authors
Clicking on the ‘Submit paper’ tab will give you the list of conferences. Find
the IPDPS '08 conference and click on its ‘Submit paper’ icon. Find the
WPDRTS '08 workshop and click on its ‘Submit paper’ icon.
Supply the title and the abstract (with 5-6 keywords). Add yourself as author.
After submitting the registration you will be able to add the other authors.
Once you have successfully registered your paper, you should receive an email
confirmation from "EDAS". Please save this email since it contains important
instructions for the uploading of your paper.
• Uploading a paper
To upload your paper, follow the instructions in the email that you should have
received when you registered your paper. The email should contain instructions
on how to upload your paper either via a web form or via FTP.
The paper should be registered and submitted by
November 19, 2007, 23:59 EST (US
Eastern time) .
In case you want to withdraw or replace your paper, you can find instructions in
the FAQ section of the EDAS website (make
sure you replace it before the deadline).
Final (camera-ready) paper submission
The final paper is limited to 8 pages. The author kit can be found at
the IPDPS '08 website:
