making computers talk to each other and do things together, Amateur radio, Raspberry Pi's, networking, audio streaming, etc.

-Reboot first if it is not broken. -Back up what is important to you vs what IT thinks is important for you. -If it is not broken do not try to fix it! Make a backup before you try to fix it... -The quieter you become the more you are able to hear.
