Ali Allami

Ali received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Missouri. Before joining Vanderbilt as a postdoctoral research scholar, he was a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering department and the mathematics department at Misan University. He served as the director of the graduate studies office at Misan University. Prior to that, he was a graduate research assistant and a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Missouri. His main research interests cover areas in the fields of graph mining and information security. His current research includes improving non-linear primitives in Secure Multiparty Computation, security and privacy in cloud computing, and location privacy applications. He has been a review member of the IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing (TDSC) journal and the ACM Transactions on Privacy and Security (TOPS). He also served as a keynote speaker at the IEEE-ACA 2023 conference. Ali has authored publications presented at journals and conferences such as WIREs-DMKD, ICDM, IEEE-CNS, and ACM SACMAT.
