Micah Rentschler is an AI researcher pursuing his Ph.D. at Vanderbilt University, advised by Dr. Gautam Biswas and Dr. Abhishek Dubey. His work explores how to scale reinforcement learning to real-world settings, with a focus on challenges such as non-stationary environments, efficient exploration, continual learning, and long-term credit assignment. He also has extensive industry experience developing and deploying industrial automation, robotics, and SCADA systems for Tier-1 suppliers and OEM automotive clients.
