Anabil is currently a CS PhD candidate at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, USA, where he works with Professor Gautam Biswas in the OELE Lab.
 
His research uses AI principles and data analytics to understand and model students’ learning behaviors in digital open-ended learning environments and develop scaffolding mechanisms to support self-regulated learning (SRL).
This involves tracking the changes in cognitive, metacognitive  & affective aspects of student behaviors during learning, to drive real-time adaptive scaffolds that provide students with personalized guidance for a more engaging and productive learning experience.
