Principle Engineer of Intel Corp will be Vanderbilt's Colloquium Speaker 3.4.10

Dr. Shubu Mukherjee from Intel will be our EECS colloquium speaker this Thursday. Those who are interested in meeting with Dr. Mukherjee should contact Aniruddha Gokhale at gokhale [at] isis.vanderbilt.edu. The meeting will be at 9 am in FGH 257 on Thursday (March 4th).

New Software Release (Feb'10)

ISIS has released new versions of its core set of Model Integrated Computing (MIC) software tool suites to the public domain.  This includes the Generic Modeling Environment (a.k.a. GME) and its supporting cast of tools UDM and GReAT.  ISIS software is available for download here.

Prof. Mike Zavlanos to visit ISIS February 25-26, 2010

ISIS will be visited by Prof. Mike Zavlanos from Stevens Institute of Technology February 25-26, 2010. He will give a talk at ISIS about Distributed Control of Networked Robots and Systems. The presentation will be held on Friday , February 26th in the Large Conference Room at 2015 Terrace Place, the abstract is included below.

Borzoo Bonakdarpour from Verimag Laboratory visits ISIS

January 4th-6th 2010 we will have visiting Post Doctoral Researcher Borzoo Bonakdarpour from Verimag Laboratory at ISIS. Tuesday January 5th at 9am he will give a talk on his implementation of Distributed BIP.

Ass't Prof. Anurag K. Srivastava to speak at ISIS

We will have a visitor, Anurag K Srivastava, from Mississippi State University on November 13th. He will be giving a seminar on “Smart Power Grid: Research Opportunities and Making it Reality”, followed by an open discussion at 10:00 AM in the large conference room.

ISIS Prof. Janos Sztipanovits delivered the Harry T. Nyquist Distinguished Lecture at Yale University on October 23, 2009. The title of his lecture was: Convergence: Model-Based Software, Systems and Control Engineering.
