Dr. Ashwin Tudur Sadashiva is a Research Scientist at the Institute for Software Integrated Systems (ISIS), Department of Computer Science, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, College of Connected Computing, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. His research focuses on multimodal learning analytics, human-in-the-loop artificial intelligence, affective computing, computer vision, learning technologies, and human-computer interaction, with an emphasis on designing AI systems that support learning and human decision-making. His research also investigates fairness, privacy, and ethical AI for vision-based learning analytics in K–12 educational settings. Dr. Ashwin has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals and international conferences and has received multiple Best Paper Awards and Best Paper Nominations for his research contributions. He also holds a granted patent and actively contributes to the research community through leadership roles in international conferences, professional societies, and Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
